ACICIS was delighted to host 24 students from nine Australian universities, in our Winter 2024 Indonesian Language Short Course in Indonesia. We’re thrilled by the enthusiastic feedback and heartfelt appreciation our students have shared about our programs. Their positive experiences truly highlight the impact and value of what we offer! Notably, 19 out of the 24 students were recipients of the prestigious New Colombo Plan (NCP) mobility grants from the Australian Government and three were New Colombo Plan scholars.

Upon concluding the program at the Satya Wacana University in Salatiga, students are invited to partake in an anonymous survey aimed at soliciting constructive feedback regarding their ACICIS experience. Impressively, 19 out of the 24 participants (79%) shared their insights through the survey. Here’s a glimpse that captures the essence of the valuable feedback we’ve received.
95 % of respondents said they would recommend ACICIS to other students at their university!
Our ILSC Winter 2024 social media ambassador, Gwyn Roberts from Deakin University shared his incredible journey in the program which was a tapestry of unforgettable experiences, from immersing himself in the vibrant celebrations of the Islamic New Year to savoring the breathtaking views from the first of the seven peaks of Mt. Hannah Dalwood who studies a Bachelor of Global Studies at Monash University received a New Colombo Plan mobility grant to support her in the program. She enjoyed Salatiga, the host city of the program. For her, Salatiga was a picturesque, tranquil city with a clean and safe environment, set against a breathtaking mountainous backdrop. She relished the opportunity to explore its culinary delights and vibrant culture, made numerous new friends, and immersed herself in the city’s rich diversity throughout her program.Check out more of her experience here.
